Liane Groth Hulka
Liane is a 2001 graduate of Indiana University. After college, she was selected into the Governor’s Fellow Program where she worked for the late Governor Frank O’Bannon before graduating from Maurer School of Law in 2005.
She has done business litigation for a large Indianapolis law firm, served the Indiana House Democrats as Assistant Majority Counsel, and has been campaign director for a winning state house race.
For the past 10 years she has worked as counsel to Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee Ann Delaney. Liane is the Fifth District Congressional Chair for the Indiana Democratic Party.
She is an advocate for public education as she serves on a Washington Township board that raises money to support teachers and students and has advised numerous school board candidate campaigns.
She co-founded the Democratic women’s leadership initiative, Hoosier Women Forward, Inc., and currently serves as its Board Chairwoman. Liane lives in Indy with her husband and 3 boys.
